SSWANH will sponsor two seminars on June 8th at Fair Acres Nursing Home. During the morning session, Jerold Rothkoff, Esquire will present: Advance Directives-New Laws in Pennsylvania. He will compare the previous PA law to the new law. He will also explain the impact on Social Workers in LTC. This is important information that you won’t want to miss.

During the afternoon, Karen Hicks, Phd will present: Intimacy Needs and Behaviors of the Elderly. She will discuss how dementia impacts on sexual needs/behaviors and guidelines for staff in LTC. This session will offer helpful insight on how sexual needs in our clients impact their adult children and their caregivers. This will be valuable information for what is often viewed as a difficult topic.

6 CEUs will be offered for the full day. Lunch, handouts and CEU’s are included. Registrants have the option of attending for the full day or ½ day session. Registration begins at 8:30.
